9to5Mac, in a new report, claims that Apple is all set to start selling its 4-inch iPhone 5se and the next generation iPad Air model the same week the company announces both new products. The sale will begin on March 18, claims the report while the event will be held on 15th of the same month. This much rumored March event is said to star two new products and some new accessories: a 4-inch iPhone 5se, iPad Air 3, and new bands for the Apple Watch.
Apple is known for accepting pre-orders for its new products soon after their announcement and before the launch date. But things are reportedly going to be different for these upcoming products as the company is said to be planning to directly sell the products after the announcement without putting them up for the pre-orders. In the past, Apple offered almost all of its new iPhone and iPad models for pre-orders before making the devices available in the retail stores.
The report, citing sources familiar with the matter, claims that Apple started producing iPhone 5se units sometime in January. This upcoming 4-icnh iPhone model is rumored to come packed with an A9 processor, Touch ID fingerprint scanner, Apple Pay integration, NFC, Live photos capabilities, voice-activated Siri, and much more. The next-generation iPad Air 3, meanwhile, is said to include iPad Pro like Apple Pencil support, Smart Connector, and four speaker outlets.
