hey,,,
I have locked iPhone 3gs 3.1.3 BB 01.05.012, so if I upgrade it to 4.0, CAN I jailbreak it????

  No, You can’t, but GeoHot can.
  The meaning of the post is the following; if nothing is changed in official OS 4.0 (compared to this beta version) GeoHot will be able to provide us jailbreak oportunity in a short time. If Apple changes something, then jailbreak might be harder (or, impossible in worst case scenario) to implement (we hope not).
  That’s the reason why there is no untethered jailbreak for OS 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 (so that GeoHot doesn’t give a clue to Apple how to prevent (or make harder) jailbreak on major OS upgrade like 4.0).

Because both Bla, Bla, Bla and not give us a solution to the problem of baseband 05.12.01. Both Geohot as dev-team and more MuscleNerd only criticize one another and do nothing. Accept that Apple will win this time. Enough donations.
