Apple had officially unveiled iOS 9 back in June during its WWDC15 conference. iOS 9, unlike its predecessors, brings lesser cosmetic changes to the mobile operating system, however, it comes with loads of under the hood performance improvements, bug fixes, and stability. How to Install iOS 9

You can easily install iOS 9 using OTA (Over-the-Air) feature on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. This can be done by going into Settings > General >Software Update.

However, it’s recommended to fresh install any major software update like iOS 9. For that, you must first backup your iPhone either using iTunes or on iCloud.
