Earlier today, Apple released iOS 6.1.2 update to fix echange bug found in iOS 6.1. With this update, the very first question that pops up in a jailbreakers mind is if iOS 6.1.2 is jailbreakable. The good news is that iOS 6.1.2 is still vulnerable to the exploits used in evasi0n, the iOS 6.1 untethered jailbreak.
According to planetbeing, a member of evad3rs team, the iOS 6.1.2 appears to be jailbreakable with evasi0n. Which mean Apple has not patched the exploits used in evasi0n jailbreak. The exploits used in evasi0n has been confirmed working on some of the devices while the evad3rs are testing it on all other devices as well. We expect an update to evasi0n jailbreak with iOS 6.1.2 compatability real soon.
Not yet able to test all devices, but it’s looking good for 6.1.2. iPad mini wi-fi and iPhone 5 are still jailbreakable.

Obviously, all jailbreakers must stay away from updating to iOS 6.1.2 until the jailbreak tool is out. It’s always a relief for the whole jailbreak community to hear that an iOs update doesn’t kill the exisiting jailbreak.
It’s the best time to save SHSH blobs for iOS 6.1.2. We’ll update you as soon as the evasi0n jailbreak is out along with the detailed step-by-step instructions on jailbreak iOS 6.1.2 firmware running on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch
