Who can wait that long for such great stuff?
But this time we have come up with some genuine stuff and that’s what topic says all about. Yup! Download iPhone OS 3.0 Beta for Free. Here you will find iPhone OS 3.0 for iPhone 2G, 3G and iPod Touch 1G and 2G.
You MUST have an iPhone 3G registered as a developer handset, otherwise after upgrade your phone will get stuck at the emergency screen, add to that You CANNOT downgrade back to 2.2.1 once upgraded to 3.0, Use at your own risk !
As a reminder here’s what iPhone Dev Team warned about when they hinted about jailbroken iPhone OS 3.0
With all of the great stuff lined up for us with the 3.0 OS that Apple described today, many 3G owners may find themselves with itchy update fingers. If you find yourself with access to the 3G IPSW for 3.0 via the iPhone Dev Center program, and you are using yellowsn0w, do not update or restore to that official IPSW. You will lose yellowsn0w and find yourself unable to revert the baseband to get it back.
And for those wondering, yes the 3.0 OS is jailbreakable on all devices. It’s just those using 3G yellowsn0w that have to show some restraint and wait for Pwnage Tool to create a custom IPSW that avoids the baseband update.
So, here’s the core idea: If you are a part of the dev team and have got UDID, you may give iPhone OS 3.0 a shot. Below you can find iPhone OS 3.0 Beta for your respective Apple device.
