Apple is planning to integrate Facebook features into the iPhone OS 4.0, according to Business Insider sources. Business Insider thinks that Apple is going to build Facebook contact syncing directly into the iPhone software, and also planning to integrate Facebook Connect directly into its software developers kit.

9to5mac reports a big new feature added to the multi-tasking interface of iPhone OS 4.0. When you flick to the left of the fast app switching interface, a few new buttons and icons appear.

Apple has added the Gmail Archive feature to the native Mail.app in iPhone OS 4.0. This feature lets you archive your email for later reading. To archive a Gmail message, simply swipe on the message just like you delete a message and archive button will appear. Have a look at the screenshot below:
