iOS 9.1
Apple released iOS 9.1 on 21 October 2015, with numerous new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements. iOS 9.1 also brought a bad news for the jailbreak community as it patched Pangu iOS 9.0.2 jailbreak. Some of the new features of iOS 9.1 includes 150+ new Emoji characters, improved Live Photos for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, a new option in settings for the Messages app to disable contact photo. iOS 9.1.x Compatible Devices
The following iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices are compatible with iOs 9.1.x software versions:
- iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, and iPhone 4s
- iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3, and iPad 2
- iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, and iPad mini
- iPod Touch 6g, iPod Touch 5g
Jailbreak Status
Since Apple has patched the vulnerabilities used by the Pangu jailbreak for iOS 9 – 9.0.2, it is currently not possible to jailbreak iOS 9.1. No jailbreak team has released any jailbreak tool so far for the iOS 9.1. Check out our dedicated page for iOS 9.1 related jailbreak tools, news and updates:
