Sherif Hashim has found a way to activate iPhone without the original SIM card. He has posted a video on how to activate iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 3G without official carrier’s SIM Card. Sherif Hashim is the same guy who found the exploit to unlock baseband 05.12.01 and baseband 05.13.04.

Apple has released the iOS 4.0.1 for iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G and iPod Touch 3G, 2G and is now available for download. You can download iOS 4.0.1 from the links below. iOS 4.0.1 is released to fix the reception issue.
