iOS 11.1 Download Available – Brings New Emojis and 3D Touch Multitasking Gesture

iOS 11.1 download is available now. After pushing a new batch of bets for its different operating systems, Apple has now released the final version of iOS 11.1 software update for compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. When compared to the most recent iOS 11.0.3 software update which brought a few minor updates, the iOS 11.1 update is a bit bigger than that. The iOS 11.1 final brings a whole new collection of emoji characters to iPhone and iPad devices. It also adds several tweaks at various locations, incorporates behind-the-scene changes, and minor bug fixes.

The most prominent addition to iOS 11.1 by Apple is a huge list of new Emoji characters. Other than that Apple has reintroduced the 3D Touch-based multitasking gesture. To install iOS 11.1 software update, head over to Settings > General > Software Update. The update should appear and then follow the on-screen instruction to install it. However, if you want to clean install iOS 11.1 you’ll have to do it using iTunes. Download the iOS 11.1 IPSW file for your iPhone or iPad and head over to installing iOS using iTunes and follow the instruction there.
