iOS 10.2 beta 4 download is now available. Apple has released the fourth beta of iOS 10.2 software update for both the developers and Public Beta Testers alike. The final release of iOS 10.2 is expected sometime during next month for all the compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices.
The first beta of iOS 10.2 was released at the tail-end of October. The third beta was seeded to the developers approximately two weeks ago. As always, the iOS 10.2 beta 4 is only available to those enrolled in Apple’s Developer programs and Apple’s Public Beta Testing program.
iOS 10.2 is meant to bring some tangible and notable new features to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. Some of these new additions include TV app that not only becomes available in iOS 10.2, it also replaces the native Videos app of iOS. The user can adjust the settings of the TV app such as whether or not cellular data should be used for media playback, as well has the quality of purchases and rentals. Additionally,the Messages app will also be getting two brand new full-screen effects in the form of “Celebrate” and “Love” and some new Emoji icons. There are numerous other new additions made to the iOS 10.2.
If you have enrolled your device into Apple’s Developer programs or have an iOS beta configuration profile installed, you should be able to fetch the iOS 10.2 beta 4 as an over-the-air update. You can do that by going into Settings > General > Software update. The full-sized firmware file is also available for download from Apple’s developer portal.
