Deutsche Telekom, a German mobile network and one of the largest telecom companies around the globe, has started accepting reservations for Apple’s next-generation iPhone, often referred to as iPhone 6s and the larger sibling as iPhone 6s Plus. Interested customers can reserve Apple’s yet to be released smartphone using an online reservation system put up by the German carrier.
Interested buyers can make reservation for an iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus right now with the carrier to make sure that they get early delivery of the device as soon as it becomes available, on a first come first served basis, reports Apfelpage.de – a German blog which was first to report on the news.
The company is currently accepting reservation only from their existing customers who are willing to extend their contract with the carrier by buying a next-generation iPhone model. Reservations are limited to one per customer. Interested customers of Deutsche Telekom can head over to reservierungsservice.telekom.de to make their reservation.
Despite the carrier accepting reservation for an unreleased iPhone, it’s not calling the device by its name as it is yet to unveiled by Apple. The carrier has also put up an FAQ page that provide more details to those interested in purchasing an iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus.
Apple is rumored to hold a media event on September 9, where is is expected to launch iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, new iPad models and a new Apple TV is also rumored to join the big stage. There are conflicting reports of an iPhone 6c with a 4-inch display to be unveiled on the same date.
Deutsche Telekom is the parent company of America T-Mobile carrier, it also owns T-Mobile operating in numerous European territories and is one of the largest telecommunications operators in Europe.
