TaiG releases TaiG 2.3.1 Jailbreak tool with Cydia 1.1.20

TaiG has released the public version of TaiG jailbreak 2.3.1 tool, which was initially available for beta testing. The most notable change in TaiG 2.3.1 is the inclusion of the latest version of Cydia i.e. version 1.1.20. In fact, this is the only change that comes with TaiG jailbreak 2.3.1.

It’s unclear why TaiG opted for a beta testing program for its jailbreak tool, the only reason that comes to mind is that the hackers team want to make sure that all the bugs, discovered by the early adopters, are squashed out before making the jailbreak publicly available as final release.

Here’s the official change-log for TaiG 2.3.1:

Integrate the latest Cydia 1.1.20.

Users who have already jailbroken their device using the earlier version of the jailbreak tool, do not need to re-jailbreak. Here’s what team TaiG instructs them to do:

Users of TaiG V1.0.0-1.3.0, supporting iOS 8.0-iOS 8.1.2, don’t need to rejailbreak. If you want to remove setreuid patch, add TaiG repo (apt.taig.com) or 3K repo (apt.3kzhushou.com), and update TaiG 8.0-8.1.X Untether.
