Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are expected to bring “the biggest camera jump ever,” as claimed by John Gruber, an Apple Pundit.” Numerous rumours and reports has suggested a 12MP camera sensor for upcoming iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus.
A unconfirmed document, posted by a Foxconn employee on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo reveals that the upcoming iPhone models: iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will come with a 12MP rear camera with capabilities of recording videos in 4K resolution.
Other than capuring videos in 4k resolution, the leaked document also reveals that Apple’s upcoming smartphones will be capable of recording slow-motion video at 240fps. It’s not surprising at all as the current generation iPhones already has the ability of capturing Slo-Mo videos at 240fps @ 1080p resolution.
The post, that has already been deleted, indicated a model number ‘N66? for the iPhone 6s, while the iPhone 6s Plus carries model number ‘N71.’ The post also claimed something that we’ve been hearing over and over that iPhone 6s will feature a 2GB RAM module and a Force Touch display.
The leaked documents also revealed that FaceTime camera will also be getting a in iPhone 6s to 5MP sensor. With everyone more inclined towards taking selfies, Apple’s smartphones was in dire need of a better front-facing camera, and it looks like apple is finally showing love to selfie lovers by introducing higher resolution front-facing camera.
In another recents leak, Apple’s next generation iPhone model was almost completely revealed in photos of its front and rear housing, which shows a design similar to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
