Apple Watch pre-orders went live at 12:01 AM on April 10, and Apple sold out all the variants of Apple watch in under six hours of pre-orders going live. As of the pre-orders launch, prospects can also schedule a try-on appointment at their local Apple Retail Store to physically check the Watch.
You can schedule an appointment to try-on Apple Watch in your Apple retail store via the company’s concierge service. Scheduling a try-on appointment takes only a few minutes, simply follow the steps mentioned below.
How to Schedule an Apple Watch Try-On Appointment
Here’s how to make an Apple Watch try-on appointment from web:
- Go to Apple’s concierge page where you can make an appointment.
- Select your state and store where you want to make a try-on appointment.
- From the populated list, find a store near you and click on “View available times,” under the name of the Watch of your choice.
- Sign in using your Apple ID credentials.
- Find an available time that suites your schedule and then click “Make Appointment.”
You can also schedule a try-on appointment using Apple Store app on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch device:
- Open Apple Store app on your iOS device.
- Go to featured page.
- Tap on “schedule a try-on appointment” and you’ll be redirected to Apple’s online concierge service.
- Select your state and store.
- Tap on the tab of the Watch of your choice: Sport and Watch appointments or Edition appointments.
- Find you store from the available list and tap “View available times.”
- Sign in using your Apple ID credentials.
- Find an available time that suites your schedule and then click “Make Appointment.”
Try-on appointments scheduled for Edition model are set to last for 30 minutes, or 15 minutes if you’re checking out other models of Apple Watch. You’ll be able to check different models, but you won’t be allowed to swap out bands. Remember that you won’t be able to order Apple Watch from your Local Apple retail store, for that Apple staff will help you to place your order online.
Apple Watch Sport model starts at $349 for the Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch model at $549 and $10,000 for the gold Apple Watch Edition. Prices of Apple Watch variants varies depending on the display size, band and model. Similarly, band prices range from $49 up to $449.
Apple Watch will be officially available in stores on April 24.
