You can buy new bands for your newly bought Apple Watch, but at Apple’s prices, buying a strap looks to be pretty expensive affair. This is going to change soon, according to Apple’s recently published User Guide for the Apple Watch, Apple is planning an authorized program for 3rd-party Apple Watch straps.

The Apple Watch User Guide that was recently published by the company, appears to reveal that we could one day see affordable third-party branded Apple Watch straps authorized by the Apple.

Apple has not officially revealed its program to authorize third-party accessory makers to launch their straps for the Apple Watch. Since Apple already has official “MFI” accessory programs for iPhone, iPad and iPod, such offering for the Apple Watch in future makes perfect sense.

Apple Watch has the ability to Get easily attached to various bands by offering a standard connection on both sides of the Watch. Regardless of Apple authorizing 3rd-parties to make straps for the Watch, we’re going to see many accessory manufacturing to launch them anyway. Accessory makers are pretty hard-working when it comes too making accessories for newly launch products. Still an official third-party band program program will always be welcomed.
