Apple has released iOS 7.1.1 to the public with a handful for bug fixes, performance improvements and security enhancements to its popular mobile operating system. Other than Touch ID improvements, Apple also made some minor tweaks to the iOS App store that clearly shows which paid or free app offers in-app purchases.
The new in-app purchases label appears under the price/download button of applications that makes it very clear when an app contains in-app purchases. The label was there since 2013 but in the description of the app only, things are more straightforward now.
Introduction of this in-app purchase label seems to be applicable to Top Charts section for now, but it won’t come as surprise if the feature is rolled out store wide. The label, which highlights paid content offerings, is an effort towards minimizing the accidental purchases made by the childrens.
