iTunes 11 is now available for download. Apple has just pushed iTunes 11, an improved version of its desktop media player / content software for both Windows and OS X. iTunes 11 was expected to drop alongside iPhone 5 and iPad mini but it was delayed.

Apple has gone into fixing its more than 10 years old jukebox because despite of millions of downloads, iTunes has struggled to remove its label of a slow, and memory hog application. The new iTunes 11 is not only lighter than it predecessors, it also comes with revamped UI and new look of the App Store.
iTunes 11 includes a completely redesigned player, a newly remodeled store, and more iCloud features. The new iTunes is also easier to use than it was ever before. Other prominent features include improved support for iCloud, the all-new mini-player with quick access to music controls and a much more simpler and revamped UI.
One of the big new features is expanded view, which lets users see all the songs of an album in place without opening a different view. The background of an album in expanded view is automatically generated by iTunes based on the item’s artwork.

Improved search. It’s never been easier to find what you’re looking for in iTunes. Just type in the search field and you’ll instantly see results from across your entire library. Select any result and iTunes takes you right to it.
Playback syncing. iCloud now remembers your place in a movie or TV show for you. Whenever you play the same movie or episode from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV, it will continue right where you left off.
