Apple has issued invites for its long anticipated iPhone 5 media event which is now scheduled for Wednesday, September 12, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00 am, report theloop.
Apple on Tuesday sent out invites for an upcoming event happening in San Francisco on September 12, 2012. The invitation I received says the event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00 am.
It’s widely expected that Apple is going to announce its next generation iPhone 5 during this event. The invitation sent reads “it’s almost here”. Where, the ‘5’ shadow seems to indicate that the new iPhone will be called ‘iPhone 5’.
Apple will be demonstrating its latest and greatest iPhone model at this event. The new iPhone 5 is rumored to feature thinner design, bigger display, improved internal hardware, LTE and more.
iPhone 5 will most probably be loaded with the latest iOS 6 firmware which is claimed to bring 200+ new features. These new features of iOS 6 includes Apple’s own Maps application, Facebook integration, Siri for iPad, improved Siri, improved Phone app, and more. Checkout our list of iOS 6 features.
