The new iPad is definitely an upgrade from the first generation iPad. Though there are many things that have been improved, I think the Retina Display is the feature that is going to attract most people since it’s the thing that you first come in contact with. From my experience, books look crisp, apps are cleaner, and movies look just as good on the iPad as they do on my HDTV at home. On my iPad, one of my favorite apps is the DISH Remote Access app because it allows me to watch live TV or stream recorded shows from my DVR to my iPad without having to be home. The other day at DISH, a few co-workers and I watched a recorded show on my iPad. The Retina Display is something that needs to be experienced in order to really appreciate it.
I like it.
Ipad to the 3rd gen ipad is like going from windows 8 to a Mac such and up grade. 3rd gen to iPad with retina not to noticeable a lil but built only 6 mons. apart good for the better price. I have an ipad 4 upgraded from a 3 same thing I loved the 3 unique only made for six months….that how imsaw it but dubbed my GBs and made a lil pocket money. Lastly the iPad air personally I’m Passing on it March the 10′.something is rumored to be coming out nigger size more space more technology (hopefully) better battery I’d think at very least. Anyhow, iPads are slippery, sleek objects and an iPad 1 and all after needs a case on it at all times. So I don not need a tablet paper thin. I like stability. And I don’t travel with it I have a phone for that so Pass
-PS. If you travel or are just generally on the go With you ipad I read so many good things about the mini it’s revamped to how the meant to do it the first time around. See cnet.com for video review
