Apple’s Phil Schiller has unveiled iPhone 4S, the new iPhone today at Apple’s media event in Cupertino. As widely speculated, iPhone 4S comes with the same iPhone 4 design — with glass front and back, metal band in the middle.
The iPhone 4S is powered by Apple’s dual-core A5 chip (2x faster than A4), which will allow for graphics up to 7 times faster. iPhone 4S offers 8 hours of talk time, 14 hours of 2g talk time, 6 hours of 3g browsing, 9 hours of Wi-Fi browsing. They have fixed the antenna issues. It supports 14.4Mbps down. iPhone 4S has both GSM and CDMA.
iPhone 4S has a new camera sensor, 8 megapixels. That’s 60% more pixels than in the iPhone 4 camera. The new iPhone 4S takes just 1.1 seconds to the first photo. And just half a second for the next shot. It features 1080p HD video recording.
