Along with the iPhone 4S jailbreak, the iPhone Dev Team has also shown an iPad 2 iOS 5 jailbreak. The Dev-Team has posted a short demo of the very preliminary iPad 2 jailbreak running iOS 5 firmware.

Since both the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S contains the same A5 chip, it means that the jailbreak will sport both the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 on iOS 5 firmware. While responding to a question that if this upcoming jailbreak will work on both iPhone 4S and iPad 2, MuscleNerd said:
yeah same for iPad2 (but with the same big hurdles ahead too before a public release is possible)
Looks like the ipad 2 and iPhone 4S owners will have wait together for an iOS 5 jailbreak for their devices. There is lots of work to be done for the public release though, so MuscleNerd has not given any ETA for the jailbreak.
