OS7 theme requires your iPhone to be jailbroken. You can Pin application to Start Menu and can also unpin from Start. Of course, even jailbroken, don’t expect too much from it due to iOS certain limitations. Still, the result is impressive. Checkout the screenshots below to see what OS7 will offer you, once installed on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

A simple plug-n-play theme for iPhone and iPod Touch. Static tiles and application lists are both auto-created. Easily customizable start menu, including live tiles. Requires NO paid tweaks or even Winterboard.

I have beta 2 with no pop ups it’s so much better with no pop ups 😉

arafys February 26, 2011, 3:04 am

from where did you get that!!!

Jack March 5, 2011, 11:54 am

Restore your old theme, delete OS7 theme. Then, just re-download the theme, then apply it.

NConley9 January 31, 2011, 8:09 pm

The look and functionality is fantastic, but every time you start an app it pops up asking if you want to donate. I quit using it after 5 minutes. Dump the pop-ups, and give me a way to move the panels on the home screen around and I’ll both use it and donate.

Sirhenri January 31, 2011, 9:43 pm

How can I get the original theme back? I haven´t saved it

casgoin February 1, 2011, 3:12 am

Matt February 1, 2011, 4:12 am

I’m in the same situation, I followed instructions elsewhere that did not tell me to back up my current. I don’t want to be stuck with this win7 theme. is there any way to remove it?

oofrostieoo February 2, 2011, 7:45 pm

Hi guys I had same problem but I found the only way is to reload apple OS back on, it was a right pain

ESRMack March 9, 2011, 7:51 am

if you have SBSettings, go to Add-ons under system settings and toggle os7 off

Matt February 1, 2011, 4:40 am

>> Easier uninstallation (If you have trouble go to SBSettings->More->MobileSubstrate Add-ons -> Turn OS7 OFF.

crazie_boi_mac5 February 1, 2011, 5:21 am

Slimnfox February 1, 2011, 7:47 pm

I had the same problem. I assume u r on 4.2.1.
I downgraded to 4.1 and the problem stopped

guilherme February 3, 2011, 1:30 am

dont work with downgrade

kaleb112494 August 29, 2011, 9:04 am

I had iOS 4.2.1 and it worked fine. I had to restore my iPod (since it went into a bootloop), downgraded to 3.1.2, then upgraded to 4.1. Both times it went into safe mode. I guess what I’m trying to say is that 4.2.1 should work.

qamki February 1, 2011, 10:27 am

Check that you have written the address properly. Make capitals where needed.

abcd February 2, 2011, 4:59 pm

iphone4 with os 4.1 crashes to safe mode whenever I start an application and those words pop up…

Bad Mojo February 3, 2011, 12:11 am

Great idea! Thanks for app. I did notice that the camera feature does not open the camera ,but opens the photos? Multiple homescreen changes seem to cause respring other than that great app

Michael Williams February 3, 2011, 2:48 am

I have the same issue where on 4.1 iPhone it just crashes to the springboard. I pretty much uninstalled everything in cydia that would likely cause a problem so not sure what else to do. Gave up on it for now.

Loadofshitz February 4, 2011, 5:05 am

Thus why it’s called BETA! Don’t use this crap, it will just fuk up your jailbrocken phone and is nothing but a pain in the ass….. But hey, do what you like, it’s your phone.

iamthestig February 5, 2011, 1:49 pm

Jesse February 11, 2011, 5:28 am

tomtom February 12, 2011, 10:00 pm

same would really like solution, when i was trying to downgrade kept coming up with error 1600

Byronius7X February 21, 2011, 6:13 am

So yeah, whenever I feed Safari the backboard:// link (I even tried moving the OS7Beta.zip file to my web server and trying it that way) SpringBoard crashes pretty hard. (iPhone 3G, iOS 4.2.1)
Does anyone happen to know where BackBoard stores its files? I could just FTP OS7Beta.zip onto my device.

the default theme that I saved appears to be stored in /private/var/mobile/Library/Wynd/iSetup … I opened the contents of OS7Beta.zip and it looks like the directory structures were a bit different. Hrmm. Ideas?

arafys February 26, 2011, 3:05 am

was working fine… after change to normal and get back again to os7 theme is not working!!!

vasu March 10, 2011, 8:46 am

Mobile Themes World April 3, 2011, 9:26 am

Great Theme. Is there any tutorial for making iphone theme

lndshark April 10, 2011, 10:02 pm

How about someone posting a normal theme! or altering the instructions to say make sure you save your normal state first! nice app but uninstall does not work and it is a real pain the but to get back to normal.

Syn April 16, 2011, 5:16 am

I am running a jailbroken iphone 3GS on 4.1

The theme downloaded and installed perfectly. It does not theme lockscreen (if it does, the winterboard theme i have installed must override it) but the live tiles and scroll screen work just fine. I have no errors, crashes or pop ups.

Only issue is the weather tile does not display in celsius (i live in canada). And seems to be set to only one place. Even after changing the weather apps settings it wont display local info and wont display celsius. But its not really important and this is one of the best themes ive come across for simplicity but uniqueness. Love it

Brandons888 April 22, 2011, 7:40 pm

It says its the end of OS7. Goodbye. on a pop-up but it still adds it, & when I install it, it just goes into safe mode? Please can someone tell me how to sort this?

tgoosh May 12, 2011, 8:26 pm

konstan April 22, 2011, 8:11 pm
