Apple has pushed the iTunes 9.2 final to both windows and Mac users. iTunes 9.2 is requires to activate iOS 4.0 firmware for both iPhone and iPod Touch. iTunes 9.2 is the only version compatible with iOS 4.0.
ATTENTION Jailbreakers
Jailbreakers *ESPECIALLY Spirit users* should stay away from iTunes 9.2 until further notice.
Update 1: Don’t install today’s iTunes 9.2 if you plan on using Spirit for fresh Jailbreak (but it’s fine for PwnageTool & redsn0w users). iTunes 9.2 will sync fine with *already* spirit jailbroken devices, but it’s better to be safe and stay away. (via veeence and Dev-Team)
