Newsstand is a full-featured RSS reader for your iPhone with a unique interface. Skim over the latest headlines on a beautiful rack of newspapers or use the powerful classic interface to read and organize feeds.
Newsstand‘s Syncing mechanism has gone through some major updates. With the whole new sync process, Newsstand is now able to fetch new articles from within a category instead of fetching every single feed. It makes Newsstand as fast as Reeder.
Other new features in Newsstand 2.2:
- Option to hide read feeds
- Added support for Google Reader sharing
- Redesigned sharing menu
- “Save immediately” option (without a confirmation dialog) for Delicious, Instapaper and ReadItLater
- Default tags and privacy settings for Delicious bookmarks
- Support for VoiceOver (except for the newspaper viewing mode)
- Help button can be hidden (see settings)
