PREREQUISITES

• You must be on Mac.
• Your iPhone Must be on Firmware 3.1.2 *NOT 3.1.3*
• Your iPhone 3G, 2G MUST be jailbroken using PwnageTool, RedSn0w or Blackra1n. *NOT with Spirit Jailbreak*
• Install OpenSSH on your iPhone (How to) and password must be the default >> alpine

INSTALLATION

• Disable the auto-lock on your iPhone. You can do this by going to Settings > General > Auto-lock and select ‘Never’.
• Download Macfuse and install it
• Download iPhodroid and extract it.
• Open the iPhodroid and hit run button.

Once you’ve jailbroken your iPhone 2G, get ready for the installation process involving 5 stages:

Download the Required Stuff

Here’s a bunch of stuff that you’ll need before you start:

1. IMPORTANT! Jailbroken iPhone 2G
2. VirtualBox (link).  Get the right version Windows/Mac
3. VirtualBox Ubuntu Image (link).  Download number 10, Ubuntu Linux 9.10 codename Karmic Koala x86
4. iPhone Explorer (link).  If you’re on Linux you can use FTP such as FileZilla instead.
5. Android images and sources (link)
6. Patched images (link).  Courtesy of Geekoid.

Preparation

Let’s get some of the basics out of the way:

1. Open Task Manager
2. Kill the iTunes Helper process
3. Install iPhone Explorer
4. Connect your iPhone to your Mac/PC
5. Run iPhone Explorer
6. Click the Change Root button
7. Select “/” Real iPhone Root Directory
8. Browse to private/var
9. Copy ramdisk.img, userdata.img, cache.img and zImage from Downloads#5 (Android images and sources) to that var directory
10. Copy system.img and android.img.gz from Downloads#6 (patched images) to the that var directory
11. That’s all the Android files on your iPhone, now to make them run!

Download iPhone Backup extractor: 32Bit | 64Bit

Install the iPhone Backup Extractor. Then run it

Now select the last backup created before the jailbreak with Spirit and click the Next button

After the analysis you can choose to retrieve files automatically or manually. Select manually and hit next.

STEP 4

Expand the Media folder and select the Media folder (there’s a Media folder within Media folder) as shown below. Click the Next button.

STEP 5

Now save save your backup to your Desktop or anywhere you want and click Next. Restoring multiple files from the backup may result in freezing iPhone Backup Extractor. Don’t worry, just wait and see.

STEP 6

Now SSH into iPhone with WinSCP, navigate to /User/Media/ and drag-and-drop the DCIM folder you backed up into your iPhone and overwrite the existing files.

Jailbreak iPhone OS 3.1.3 with Spirit Jailbreak

***All the downloads are linked at the bottom of this guide. Backup your iPhone via iTunes first.

STEP 1

Download Spirit Jailbreak from below (Both Windows and MAC versions are available).

STEP 2

Update your iTunes to latest version (9.1.1). Download link below. (any version from 9 to 9.1.1 should work.)
iPhone firmware must be 3.1.3 or 3.1.2.

STEP 3

Run the downloaded Spirit jailbreak.

ATTENTION Windows 7/Vista users: You need to run the Spirit in compatibility mode for Windows 98. To do this, simply right click on the Spirit.exe file and go to Properties. Then go to Compatibility tab and select Windows 98 from the dropdown of Compatibility Mode. Hit the Apply and then OK button. Then run the Spirit.

Without compatibility mode you may encounter error c0000005.

STEP 4

Connect your iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G or iPhone 2G to your computer via USB cable and once the iPhone is connected and Spirit detects it,
Hit the Jailbreak button to jailbreak iPhone.

STEP 5

Spirit will jailbreak iPhone 3GS, 3G, 2G OS 3.1.3. When the jailbreak process is complete, Jailbreak Succeeded! message will appear. Hit the Quit button.

Your iPhone will reboot and some progress bar will appear. Once the process is complete your iPhone will be jailbroken and sweet Cydia icon will be resting on your iPhone Home screen.

Congratz! you’ve successfully jailbreak iPhone Os 3.1.3 with Spirit Jailbreak.. Have fun with your jailbroken iPhone 3.1.3.

Once someone updates his iPhone 3GS, iPad, iPod Touch 3G, and iTouch 2G MC to latest firmware without saving SHSH on file they not only lose their jailbreak but also the ability of downgrading to the older firmware. But if you have ECID SHSH saved for an older firmware, you’ll always be able to restore back to that firmware and then jailbreak your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch.

Note: This guide is important for iPad, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G and iPod Touch 2G (MC) owners. iPhone 3G and 2G users are free of this headache.

How to Save iPhone SHSH Files

If you’ve a jailbroken iDevice, there’s a simple way to save SHSH files. But for those with a brand new device need to follow other steps.. We are going to write instruction for both..

1. If you’re already Jailbroken:

Now that you’ve a jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch; Launch the Cydia. Check if there’s any mention of “this device has SHSHs on file for iPhone OS: 3.0, 3.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3” at the top of the Cydia home screen. If there is, then you don’t have anything to do. You may not have saved all SHSH on file but it’s Ok to have the latest one. Current latest firmware version is 3.1.3, so make sure you have that one mentioned there. Checkout the screenshot:

If you already have saved your SHSH on Saurik server you need not to repeat the process every time. If there’s nothing mentioned at the top of the Cydia home screen, Scroll down the Cydia Home Page and look for “make my life easier” and tap on it. This will automatically save your ECID SHSH on Saurik’s server. To confirm, simply close and re-open the Cydia and see if there’s a mention at the top now!

That’s it, you don’t need to do this for each new firmwares, Cydia will automatically save ECID SHSH of future firmware for you.

ADVICE: Never jump to grab the latest firmware unless Dev-Team releases a jailbreak tool for the latest firmware..

2. For Both Jailbroken and Not Jailbroken Devices

If you’ve a new iPhone or afraid of jailbreaking it at the moment and just want to see if jailbreak tool really works for others, it’s highly recommended to save your ECID SHSH on file asap. The current firmware version is 3.1.3 and for iPad it’s 3.2 but Apple is expected to release a firmware update anytime now so, grab your ECID SHSH before it’s too late. You can save SHSH Signature files even if you’re not Jailbroken.

Follow the steps below to grab ECID SHSH on file for a jailbreak free device:

NOTE: You can save ECID SHSH on file only for that firmware version that Apple still signs, currently it’s 3.1.3 for iPhone and iTouch, for iPad it’s 3.2. It is very important to keep doing this for every firmware version that comes out after these!! But If you jailbreak your iPhone at any point in future, simply follow the jailbroken device steps mentioned above and leave the rest to Saurik.

STEP 1

Get your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad ECID using the following guide:

STEP 2

Windows Users:

Go to start Menu and search for notepad. Run it as administrator.

This will open up the Notepad.exe. Now go to File Menu > Open and browse to the following directory: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Select the Hosts file from that directory. (Make sure you have chosen to show all files. See the screenshots below.)

Remove any line which contains gs.apple.com, remove it or comment it out by adding # in front of that line then save the file and exit.

Mac Users:

Run the Terminal app from Applications > Utilities and input the following command and hit the enter key:

sudo /Applications/TextEdit.app/Contents/MacOS/TextEdit /etc/hosts

If asked, input your admin password.

TextEdit will open the Hosts file. Remove any line which contains gs.apple.com, remove it or comment it out by adding # in front of that line then save the file and exit.

STEP 3

Download the firmware Umbrella from here.
Windows users need Java Runtime Environment installed. Download Java runtime environment from here and install it before proceeding.

STEP 4

Run the downloaded firmware umbrella (both Windows and Mac version available in download)

STEP 5

• Enter your ECID (that you obtained in the STEP 1)
• Select your device. iPhone 3GS or iPad or iPod Touch
• Select SHSH Repository:
  • Select Apple from the dropdown if you just want to ping Apple for your SHSH and save it locally.
  • Select Saurik – Cydia from the dropdown if you want to check Cydia for your SHSH and if Cydia doesn’t have it, it will be stored there.
• Hit the Submit button.

While downloading the SHSH’s it will freeze for a minute or two and would seem like it’s not responding, don’t panic, it’s normal and soon enough the SHSH saved! message will appear at the status bar of the Umbrella Window. Your iPhone SHSH will be downloaded and saved in the same folder as Umbrella is. The file size will be around 64kb. That’s it…

When you restore your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, the iTunes contact Apple servers and generate signatures for your device. If you want to secure your future jailbreak, it’s important to save these signatures before a new firmware comes out. Because once the new firmware is out, Apple stops signing older firmware and without a signature for older firmware, you cannot restore your iPhone, iPad, iTouch to that older firmware. Apple won’t let you downgrade your firmware. But if you have signatures saved for an older firmware for your device, Apple won’t be able to stop you from downgrading firmware even if they stop signing older firmware.

In this guide you’ll learn how to save your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch ECID in both Windows and Mac operating systems.

How to Get ECID (Windows)

Method 1

1. Put your device into Recovery Mode:
   • Open iTunes and connect the iPhone via USB.
   • Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time. (you device will turn OFF and then ON)
   • Continue holding the both buttons until your iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.
2. Download ECID Grabber from here.
3. Run the ECID Grabber and hit Get ECID button. Then copy and save your ECID from ECID Grabber.

To get out of recovery mode, simply turn your device off and then turn back ON.

Method 2

1. Put your device into Recovery Mode
   1. Open iTunes and connect the iPhone via USB.
   2. Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time. (you device will turn OFF and then ON)
   3. Continue holding the both buttons until your iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.
2. Download USBView from here.
3. Go to Options Menu and check mark “config descriptors” (enable it)
4. Hit F5 key on your keyboard to refresh.
5. Scroll down till you see Apple Recovery (iBoot) USB drive in the left pane, and then click on it.
6. Note down your 16 number ECID code from the right pane.

To get out of recovery mode, simply turn your device off and then turn back ON.

How to Get ECID (Mac)

1. Put your device into Recovery Mode
   1. Open iTunes and connect the iPhone via USB.
   2. Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time. (you device will turn OFF and then ON)
   3. Continue holding the both buttons until your iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.
2. Now go to Applications > Utilities > System Profiler
3. From the System Profiler window, go to USB from the left navigation pane and in the right pane click on Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode).
4. From the Lower-right pane, copy the 16 numbers ECID code for your device.

To get out of recovery mode, simply turn your device off and then turn back ON.

Unlock iPhone 3GS, 3G Baseband 05.11.07 on 3.1.3

Assuming that you’ve jailbreak your iPhone, now you can unlock iPhone 3.1.3 Baseband 05.11.07 using Blacksn0w RC2.

STEP 1

Run the Cydia from your iPhone Springboard.

STEP 2

Add the following source to Cydia:

http://cydia.pushfix.info

(How to add a source to Cydia)

STEP 3

Once you have added the above mentioned source, go to Search tab and search for blacksn0w rc2 and install it.

It will unlock your iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G.

STEP 4

Reboot your iPhone.. That’s it

You have successfully unlocked iPhone 3GS, 3G firmware 3.1.3 on 05.11.07 baseband.

For those who do not know, iBlueNova is an iPhone app that let you transfer files via Bluetooth on iPhone. iBlueNova supports iPhone OS 3.x. If you’re on iPhone OS 2.x you can use the iBluetooth to transfer file from iPhone via Bluetooth.

iBluenova is the only application in the world that lets you send and receive files, music, videos and pictures to other phones using the Bluetooth natively. The application is available only for Jailbroken devices, absolute and exclusive through the iSpazio repository on Cydia.

Your iPhone must be jailbroken in order to download iBlueNova onto your iPhone. You can find jailbreak guides linked at the bottom.

How to Transfer File via Bluetooth on iPhone

Step 1

Open the Cydia. Go to Search tab and search for iBlueNova. Download and install iBlueNova.

NOTE:

• If you want to purchase iBlueNova immediately then press the Purchase Package button.
• If you have already purchased iBluetooth in the past or if you would like iBlueNova 15 days trial, press the Purchase button at the top right of the screen.

Step 2

Once you’ve successfully install iBlueNova on your iPhone, close the Cydia and launch the iBlueNova from your Springboard.

Step 3

You will see two switches on iBlueNova home screen. Turning the first Switch to ON will enable iBlueNova and 2nd Switch when turned ON will make your iPhone visible to other Bluetooth devices.

Step 4 – Sending a File from iPhone/iPod Touch

File Manager let you send Pictures, Music, Videos, and Other Files via Bluetooth to other devices.

Sending a Picture over Bluetooth

> Go to Pictures Menu.
> Select an album.
> Tap to choose a photo you want to send over Bluetooth.
> Tap the send button at the bottom-right of the screen
> Select the destined device. If there’s no device on the list, hit the refresh button at the top-right corner and make sure the other device is set to visible. You can also favorite a device you frequently connect to by tapping on the Star next to it.
> Once the device is selected, accept the file transfer on your other device to initiate transfer from iPhone. A Progress bar will appear until the transfer is complete.

Procedure is the same for transferring Music, video or other types of files via Bluetooth using iBlueNova.

Step 5

The Transfer Menu from the home page of iBlueNova gives you the overall status of all transfers.

Step 6

The settings Menu provides you with the following options:

• General section let you change the name of your device, Enabling auto search, Vibrate, Re-enable on close.
• Security section let you set a pin authentication for the connection.
• Images section let you decide if you want to send images in JPG format instead of iPhone default PNG file format. There’s also a feature to save incoming images into the Library.
• Save Paths Section let you set the directory where you want to save incoming files.

In this guide we are going to talk about how to fix recovery mode loop on iPhone and iPod Touch. To get out of recovery mode loop you can use iRecovery and iREB.

NOTE: We are talking about recovery mode loop resulted due to some error during jailbreak process. We are NOT discussing the recovery mode that all new iDevice users face whenever they reboot their iPhone 3GS or iTouch 2G (MC) & iTouch 3G. These devices are tethered jailbreak only (you lose jailbreak on reboot) that’s why get stuck into recovery mode on reboot. Just run the BlackRa1n/RedSn0w again to get out of recovery.

How to Fix Recovery Mode Loop with iRecovery

What is iRecovery?

iRecovery is a libusb-based commandline utility for Mac OS X and Linux (perhaps windows too but I’m not developing/testing under windows). It is able to talk to the iBoot/iBSS in Apple’s iPhone/iPod touch via USB.

It currently connects to 0×1281 (iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPod touch, iPod touch 2G: Recovery Mode/iBSS), 0×1227 (iPhone,
iPhone 3G, iPod touch: WTF Mode; iPod touch 2G: DFU Mode).

1. Download the iRecovery files linked below.
2. (Mac users please skip to step 2, this step is for Windows users only)
   Install the libusb first. If you are on Windows 7 or Vista you need to run libUSB in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode:
   • Right click on libusb exe file > Properties > Compatibility. Check mark the “Run this program in compatibility mode” box and select “Windows XP (Service Pack2)”from the drop down list.
   • Right click again and select “Run as “Administrator”. Install libUSB.
3. Run the iRecovery in Terminal/Command Prompt with iRecovery -s. (make sure you change your directory in the command prompt to the directory where you have installed irecovery)
4. Now run the following commands in the Terminal:
   • setenv auto-boot true
   • saveenv
   • /exit
5. Now reboot your iPhone/iPod Touch by holding home + power/sleep for 10 seconds.

Install AppSync MobileInstallation Patch on iPhone 3.1.3

1. Your iPhone/iPod Touch OS 3.1.3 must be jailbroken. (Jailbreak guides linked below)
2. Simply go to Cydia
3. Add the following source: http://cydia.hackulo.us
4. Now search for AppSync in Cydia. (Any of the versions available will work, even the 3.0 version)
5. Install AppSync

Installing AppSync will patch MobileInstallation on iPhone OS 3.1.3.
*** Don’t forget to install a free app from iTunes Store before trying Cracked apps.

In this iPhone guide you’ll learn how to downgrade iPhone Baseband 05.12.01 to 04.26.08 so that you may regain your unlock and use any Carrier SIM on your iPhone. These instruction are applicable only if you fulfill the criteria mentioned below:

• You have an iPhone 3G (sorry iPhone 3GS users)
• 05.12.01 baseband
• older bootloader 05.08 (Follow the instructions below, it will tell you the bootloader version as well.)
• iPhone MUST be jailbroken (You can jailbreak iPhone 3G using PwnageTool 3.1.5, custom firmware, RedSn0w 0.9.3 and Sn0wbreeze )

NOTE: A large number of iPhone 3G and all iPhone 3GS are not supported by the Fuzzyband 3.1.3. If you fall in this category and have updated baseband 05.12.011 then wait for the Dev-Team to come up with an unlock for Baseband 05.12.01. An exploit to unlock baseband 05.12.01 has been found but converting it to a working unlock may take weeks or even months.

If you meet the above mentioned criteria then you can easily downgrade iPhone baseband 05.12.01 to 04.26.08 and then unlock iPhone OS 3.1.3 using UltraSn0w. To downgrade iPhone 3G baseband 05.12.01 you need to use latest version of Fuzzyband available in Cydia. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to downgrade iPhone Baseband 05.12.01:

Downgrade iPhone Baseband 05.12.01 to 04.26.08

Step 1

Go to Cydia and search for FuzzyBand and install it.

Step 2

Now open the FuzzyBand app installed on your iPhone springboard.

FuzzyBand will display the current Bootloader, Baseband and firmware version of your iPhone. If you fulfill the downgrade Criteria, Tap the downgrade button to downgrade Baseband 05.12.01 to 04.26.08.

Step 3

Once your iPhone baseband is downgraded to 04.26.08 now you can easily unlock iPhone 3GS using the guide linked below:

PwnageTool can jailbreak:

IMPORTANT

• if you have an ipt1g, iphone2g, or iphone3g(and don’t need an unlock), we strongly recommend you to use redsn0w
• Do not upgrade to 3.1.3 if you need the unlock for 05.11.07 baseband, blacksn0w does NOT WORK!
• Read this post before proceeding

ok… Let’s start jailbreaking iPhone 3.1.3 using PwnageTool.

Jailbreak iPhone 3.1.3 Firmware

Update your iTunes to latest version and Backup your iPhone.

Create a folder on your desktop and name it: Pwnage. Then download the files linked at the bottom and put into Pwnage folder.

(Download through Firefox because Safari often auto extracts ipsw file)

Step 1
Double click PwnageTool_3.1.5 dmg file to mount it.

Click and drag the PwnageTool icon to Pwnage Folder you created and then open it from there.

Warning Box will Popup. Just hit the OK button.

Step 2
Make sure you select Expert Mode from Top menu

Step 3
Select your device. A big Green check mark will appear on the selected device.
Now hit the big Blue Arrow button at bottom right to proceed.

Step 4
On the next page, PwnageTool will automatically find the IPSW file. If not found then click “Browse for IPSW” button and select the downloaded IPSW OS 3.1.3 file from the Pwnage folder. A check mark will appear next to it.

Then hit Blue Arrow Button to proceed.

Step 5
On the next page you will have 6 choices. Select the General and hit Blue Arrow Button to proceed.

Step 6
This is the most important step. Please read carefully about selecting activate the phone option. You will know you didn’t choose the right option if you don’t have signal after jailbreaking.

On the next Page you can decide your Root Partition Size where OS resides. Click activate the phone (only if you’re on unofficial carrier).

***Deselect Activate the phone option if you are on official carrier. For the 3.1.3 firmware you may have to increase the size of your root partition slightly for the IPSW build to be successful. I like 1GB.***

The Bootneuter settings are greyed out for the iPhone 3GS and 3G and iPod Touches. Click the blue arrow button.

The next screen will show the Cydia settings menu. It allows you to create custom packages so you do not have to manually install them later.

Go to Download packages tab.and hit the Refresh button to display all the available packages. Double click your desired package, it will be downloaded and will be available under the Select Packages tab.

When you have downloaded your desired packages, go back to Select Packages tab and check mark the ones you want.

then hit the Blue Arrow Button to proceed.

Custom Packages Settings will displays listed package settings for your custom IPSW. Leave these settings as is for now. Just click the Blue Arrow Button to proceed.

On the next Custom Logos Settings menu, you’ll be able to add your own images as boot logos. Click the Browse button to select your Boot logo and Recovery logo. I just use defaults so deselected all options.

Click the blue arrow button to continue.

Step 7
Now you are  ready to build your custom firmware. Click the build button to select it, then click the blue arrow button to proceed.

Step 8
You will be asked to Save your custom .ipsw file. Save it to the same Pwnage folder.

Step 9
PwnageTool will start building your custom firmware. Wait until it’s done.

If prompted enter your Administrator password and click the OK button.

Step 10
When prompted if your iPhone has been Pwned before, Click No. It allows for a more thorough restore.

Step 11
You will be asked to turn OFF the device. Make sure it is connected to the USB port.

Step 12
NOTE: If you’re already jailbroken (by whatever means), you don’t need to mess around with DFU mode at all.  Just create (or get from a friend) your custom IPSW and Option-Restore (Shift-Restore on Windows) to it via iTunes.  Don’t enter DFU mode at all.  Please make sure you are restoring to the custom IPSW, not the stock one from Apple!  For best results, use the latest iTunes (9.0.1) — which includes a nice new application organizer.

If it’s the first time you’re jailbreaking your iPhone, Be ready to follow directions now to get into DFU Mode.

• You will be asked to hold the home button and the power button for 10 seconds.
• Then, you will have to release the power button and hold the home button for 10 seconds to enter DFU.

If you failed to follow the instruction, it will show you a message asking if you want to retry?. Click Yes.

Unplug the iPhone from the USB. Turn it OFF, then turn it back ON. Reconnect it to USB and turn OFF the iPhone when prompted.

When followed correctly, PwnageTool will display a message telling your that it successfully entered DFU mode. iTunes will also pop-up.

Step 13
In iTunes, hold the Alt/Option key and hit Restore.

Step 14
from the popup window, browse to the Pwnage Folder and select you custom .ipsw file that you just created and click Open Button.

Step 15
iTunes will now restore the firmware on your iPhone. This can also take up to 10 minutes.

When done. You have successfully Jailbreak iPhone 3.1.3 firmware.

Unlock iPhone 3GS, 3G 3.1.3 firmware

Now in Order to Unlock iPhone 3GS or 3G 3.1.3 firmware follow this old Guide which also works for OS 3.1.3 if you jailbreak iPhone using PwnageTool:

How to Backup and Restore Cydia Apps

In order to backup and restore Cydia apps, you need to get PkgBackup from Cydia.

PkgBackup is an iPhone app available in Cydia that let to backup all Cydia apps installed on iPhone/iPod Touch and later you can restore Cydia apps that you’ve backup. PkgBackup let you share, exchange, send your packages to others on Facebook also. PkgBackup can also backup your Springboard layout.

You can purchase PkgBackup from Cydia for $3.49. Assuming that you’ve purchased the app and have installed it. Now let’s start backing up Cydia Apps and then restore them.

How to Backup Cydia Apps on iPhone/iPod Touch

1. Open the PkgBackup and go to Active Packages to Backup.
   
2. By double tapping a single package it will turn black/blue. Black means the package will not be included in the backup while the blue color indicates that you’ve selected the package to backup. By default, all package, you’ve installed from Cydia, are selected for Backup.
3. You can also view the package detail by a single tap on any Cydia package. You can also set to backup or not from Package details by turning the backup switch ON/OFF.
   
4. Navigate back to the main view, include or not your springboard layout and hit ‘Back Up’. An address book entry will be created.
   
5. Sync up your iPhone with your computer.

Tips

• To publish the story feed on Facebook, make sure to always be connect to Facebook first AND to allow the application to publish on Facebook.
• You can import/export the ‘Pkg Backup’ address book entry. Voila, you got portable back up!

How to Restore Cydia Apps Backup

1. Tap on the active packages to view the list of packages to restore.
2. Once the ‘Packages List’ is display, double-tap a package to select (blue color) or deselect (black color) it. By default, all UNINSTALLED packages are selected.
3. To view a package details, tap once a package. Once on the ‘Package Details’ view, you can select or deselect it for the restore.
4. Navigate back to the main view, include or not your springboard layout and hit ‘Restore’.
5. That’s it! All packages will be restored in their LATEST version.

How to Share Cydia Apps Backup

X & Y bought PkgBackup. Y want to have the same iphone/ipod as X.

Steps for X:

1. X does a backup operation.
2. X open its Contacts app & find the entry ‘Pkg Backup’.
3. X copies the following fields: company & note
4. X paste those fields in a email or file that will be send to Y.

Steps for Y:

1. Y create an entry in Contacts app with:
   • first name: Pkg
   • last name: Backup
2. Y pastes the received ‘company’ date in the new contact company entry.
3. Y pastes the received ‘note’ date in the new contact note entry.
4. Y launches PkgBackup & hit restore.

To install Push Fix Open the Cydia. Go to Manage Tab and Press the Sources button.
Press the Edit button at the top-right

and then Add button at the top-left of the screen

Input the following URL as APT Source:

Press the Add Source button

Once Done! press the big Return to Cydia button. and then Done button at the top right.
