Recently Apple released iOS 11.3.1 software update to address some bugs for in their mobile operating system. But, now the company is back with a new beta release for its upcoming iOS 11.4 firmware version.
Todays, Apple has officially released the fourth beta of iOS 11.4 software update. The iOS 11.4 beta 4 is currently available to registered iOS developers and will soon be seeded to public beta testers as well.
The final version of iOS 11.4 is all set to bring AirPlay 2 feature enabling Apple devices to be listed in the Home app again. The update also brings Stereo speaker support for the HomePod – Apple’s smart speakers. The stereo speakers feature is not yet working because it requires an update for the HomePod firmware as well. You can install iOS 11.4 beta 4 as an Over-the-Air update by going to Settings > General > Software Update. But, for that, your test device must be enrolled in Apple’s Developer program and have a proper beta profile setup.
