Updates: Apple has released iOS 11.2 beta 5 to developers.

The fourth beta of upcoming 11.2 software update comes more than two weeks after the release of the first major iOS 11 update, the iOS 11.1, and only one day after the release of iOS 11.1.2 firmware. This upcoming software update will likely bring features such as Apple Pay Cash and the SiriKit for HomePod which was detailed at the end of October. We have a detailed rundown of all the new features of iOS 11.2.

If your device is already running a beta version of iOS 11.2, you can easily install the latest beta version as an Over-the-Air update by going to Settings > General > Software Update. However, if it’s the first time you’re going to try iOS 11.2 beta 4, you’d need to properly configure a beta profile on your device. We have a detailed guide on configuring a beta profile to install iOS 11.2 beta on your device.

There is one change specific to the iPhone X. Apple has added a small bar underneath the icons at the top right side of the device on the Lock screen. It is designed to make the location of Control Center more clear. iPhone X users access Control Center by swiping from the top-right side of the screen. iOS 11.2 also brings support for faster 7.5W wireless charging for the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus.
