Apple has released yet another beta update for the upcoming iOS 11 software update. This marks the 9th beta release of the said firmware. The iOS 11 beta 11 for compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices is available to the registered iOS Developers only.
Apple had released the first beta of iOS 11 after introducing it at WWDC 2017. According to the release notes of iOS 11 beta 9, the new beta seed is meant to bring bug fixes and performance improvements to the compatible devices. Over the last few beta updates, Apple enabled some of the new features for iOS 11 such as Do Not Disturb while Driving and a new sync system for Safari Bookmarks and Reading List with added security and better syncing.
Apple has also fixed the bugs related to Bluetooth button in Control Center and 3D Touch with data detectors through these beta releases. The release notes have a mention related to Tweebot saying that the app may not be able to post tweets containing media that you recently captured and Citi Mobile app might crash at launch.
Rather than being revolutionary, the iOS 11 software update is more of an evolutionary one. It comes with many new features such as unified Notification Center and the Lock screen, revamped Control Center and some major and minor tweaks to the stock applications.
