The leaked render gives a clear look at the extra button on the left-side of the Galaxy S8, which is meant to launch Samsung’s new Bixby digital assistant. The leaked renders reveal a for-factor which majority is expecting from Apple’s iPhone 8 – the 10th-anniversary edition – to be launched around September.

Samsung’s upcoming flagship is expected to rock Super AMOLED display with curved edges on both sides and rounded corners. The Home button that contains the fingerprint sensor is nowhere to be seen. It is believed that either Samsung will introduce an in-screen fingerprint reader or a physical sensor will be placed on the rear of the device. It is worth mentioning that Apple’supcomingiPhone 8 is also widely expected to ditch the physical Home button and adopt a beneath-screen fingerprint solution.

An array of sensors can be seen above the display right where the earpiece and the front camera are located. One is these sensors is said to be iris scanner. The additional hardware button, that was not seen on Galaxy S7 is meant to launch Bixby, Samsung’s new digital assistant that came into being after company’s acquisition of Viv Labs.

Here is the teaser for Galaxy S8 from Mobile World Congress:

Ifwe talk about Apple’s plan for its upcoming iPhone 8, the company is expected to introduced major design changes with its 10th-anniversary edition. The iPhone S8 is expected to get 5.8-inch OLED display, and sensors such as Touch ID and front facing camera embedded into the display to reduce top and bottom chin. Apple is also rumored to introduce a “Function area” right below the display that will offer functionality similar to the Touch Bar on the MacBook Pro.

Apple, too, is expected to redesign its handset.

A brand new OLED-based iPhone 8 model should join mostly iterative LCD-based iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus updates. iPhone 8 is widely expected to have its sensors, the front-facing FaceTime camera and Touch ID embedded into the display, resulting in a drastically reduced top and bottom chin.

Samsung is all set to unveil its latest and greatest Galaxy S8 on March 29 and if the leaks are to be believed, it should be available to the Public in April.
