Apple is expected to launch a new SDK for Siri during WWDC 16. This will allow third-party developers to integrate Siri into their apps allowing iOS users to control 3rd-party applications and services using their voice. This will put Siri in competition with Amazon Echo and Google Home.

Apple is also expected to announce a name change for its desktop operating system from OS X to Mac OS. This will bring the name of the desktop operating system in line with other platforms, such as iOS, tvOS, watchOS. Siri is also expected to make its way into the Macs.

A major Apple Music redesign is also expected to be on the list of announcements that Apple is going to make during the WWDC 16 keynote. Users have been complaining about Apple Music being too cluttered and difficult to use.
