According to a new report from BusinessInsider, hackers are offering Apple employees in Ireland thousands of Euros for valid login details of their Apple account.
Some of the Apple employees who spoke to Business Insider say that the hackers are offering thousands of Euros to Apple employees and in return, all they want are the login details of a valid official Apple account. The report reveals that primary targets of hackers are the new Apple employees and they contact them over email offering them as much as $23000 to get access to their Apple login.

Another former Apple employee has confirmed such offers. “They look for someone who has jumped diagonally into a junior managerial position, so not a lifer working their way up, and not a lifer who has been there a long time”.
It’s unclear what exactly hackers want to achieve by having access to a legit Apple login details. But it could be an attempt to get access to Apple’s intellectual property, upcoming products, or may be corporate strategies.
It’s interesting to note that Apple has launched a new internal scheme called “Grow Your Own.” It remains a mystery why Apple named it so and what this scheme is all about. However, Apple employees say that the company is “very, very careful” when it comes to security and it’s almost impossible for anyone to break into its system. The system is made so secure that even they have trouble when accessing company’s office in Cork remotely.
