We have already heard numerous rumors claiming Force Touch display to make its way into Apple’s upcoming iPhone model and a recent report published photos of an alleged iPhone 6s display with a mysterious chip which is believed to be for the Force Touch assembly. Now a new patch of photos of an alleged iPhone 6s Plus display seems to confirm those claims.
The photos are published by Apple Club, a Taiwanese parts supplier and there is nothing surprising in these leaked photos as they looks similar to earlier iPhone 6s display leaks, but this strengthens the rumors and reports claiming a pressure sensitive display making its way into the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus.
If you have a look at the photo below, you can easily see the Force Touch controller towards the top of the LCD panel. It is believed to be Force Touch controller as it was not present on the current iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus display panels. Since iPhone 6s is expected to look similar to an iPhone 6, the leaked display panel has no other difference than the current model.
Apple’s next-generation iPhone devices are expected to look exactly similar to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, but will pack improved hardware specs. Some of the rumored hardware improvements include an Apple’s A9 chip with 2GB of RAM, Force Touch – a pressure sensitive display technology, 12MP rear camera with 4K video support, a 5MP front-facing camera with a selfie flash.
Apple is all set to unveil in latest hardware on September 9 during a media event for which it has sent out invites to the media folks.
