While Apple is all set to unveil its new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus during a media event tomorrow, there’s still plenty of room for more leaks to make their way into the cloud. And this is exactly what happening now with a leaked image which supposedly shows the iPhone 6s box art hinting at Apple Watch like motion wallpapers coming to new iPhones.
Techtastic, a Dutch website, is the one where the images appeared first and seems to confirm that Apple is indeed going to include “Motion” wallpapers in its upcoming iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Apple Watch was the first Apple device to get Motion wallpapers including a jellyfish moving over a black background, animated flowers, and butterflies flapping wings.
iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus will include a burst of smoke and animated fish motion wallpapers, reports 9to5mac. One of those animated fish in motion is said to be on the front of the alleged iPhone 6s Plus box. Now this new report also claims that the same fish will also be featured on the iPhone 6s retail box. However, there are certain differences between the art that appeared on the two leaked boxes.
In this new leak, the alleged iPhone 6s box provides more details about the device. We can clearly see the FaceTine camera and proximity sensors at the top of the device’s front panel, but the leaked iPhone 6s Plus retail box doesn’t show any such details.
There are some striking differences between these leaked iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus boxes and the current iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus boxes. The current iPhone 6 box carries a white packaging showing a rough outline of the device along with the speaker grille and Home button as part of the design on the front of the box. The Apple logo along with the “iPhone” are printed on the sides of the box. However, these leaked image of upcoming iPhone box shows the device in its full glory, along with the colorful art on the display at the front side of the box. The Apple logo has been moved to the top and bottom side of the box, while the “iPhone” is printed on the left and right of the leaked box.
Mark Gurman of the 9to5mac has also tweeted a picture of retail box for the black iPhone 6s which also confirms that Apple will be introducing a redesigned box for its upcoming iPhones along with a fish motion wallpaper that can be seen in the picture.

It won’t come as a surprise if Apple changes its iPhone packaging from minimalistic white box to a more colorful and eye-catching design. However, the real question is if Apple will also introduce the same motion wallpapers on current iPhone devices through iOS 9 or those will just be exclusive to the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus.
