We have heard numerous rumors and reports to date suggesting that Apple was indeed working on a larger size ‘iPad Pro‘, but the tablet would not be launched alongside Apple’s next-generation iPhone devices which are set to be unveiled on September 9, 2015. Despite the fact that Apple and sent out invites for its iPhone 6s event, the report kept saying that Apple won’t be launching an iPad Pro during September 9 event, and that, the rumored larger iPad will get its own media event sometime in October. But, this new report from 9to5mac says otherwise.
In a new report, 9to5mac – based on its “Trusted sources” – states that the September 9 event is going to be the biggest event in Apple’s history. Apple’s decision to hold this upcoming media event in Bill Graham auditorium which has massive seating capacity of 7,000 folks, also reflects the scope of the event, because Apple plans on revealing lots of new products during the event.
Besides the much-anticipated iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, the report claims that Apple will be launching a revamped Apple Tv set top box, new Apple Watch bands, a pair of new iPads including an iPad Pro and an iPad mini refresh.
However, the report also indicated that while Apple is currently planning on unveiling the new iPad devices on September 9, that could change. If the plan changes, the report states that Apple will hold an event for new iPad unveiling at the beginning of next month, pre-order would go live in the same month, followed by the launch in the month of November.
iPad Pro is expected to come in a larger 12-inch display with Force Touch technology, and the device will support a Force Touch enabled stylus. For the iPad mini 4, the device is said to come in a thinner form factor than the current model, powered with an A8 processor, and upgraded camera modules.
