Information regarding next-generation iPhone has allegedly been leaked by a French carrier ahead of the official event invites. The leak suggests that iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be available for pre-order starting Friday, September 11 followed by September 18 launch date. The dates are in-line with some of the recent reports.
Here is the image that allegedly comes straight from a French carrier’s database. and if accurate, the next-generation iPhone devices will be all set to go up for pre-orders on September 11, two days after official unveiling during a media event on September 9. If we look at Apple’s history, the company has a tradition of offering a newly unveiled product for pre-order after two days of its unveiling, so this seems to make sense.
German Carriers have also leaked the exact same dates for the unveiling, pre-orders and the launch dates for the upcoming iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s devices. Apple, however, is yet to officially confirm the dates for the new iPhones unveiling. We cannot say for sure if the carriers are acting based on the official internal information or simply getting themselves ready for the big announcement based on the recent rumors.
While all these dates are in-line with other rumors and also with the history of iPhone unveiling, we suggest you to not take them too seriously and wait for Apple to officially send out invites for the media event. Dates can slip slightly, but rest assure that you’ll have an iPhone 6s by the end of September if Apple is not hit by any uncertain situation.
iPhone 6s is expected to come with a Force Touch display, 2GB of RAM module, an all new Rose gold color, 12MP camera sensor, and a stronger 7000 Series aluminum enclosure.
