TaiG 2.2.1 jailbreak download is available now. Team TaiG has updated their popular jailbreak tool: TaiG jailbreak to version 2.2.1 to fix the security allowing applications to obtain root access through setreuid.
Other than fixing application getting root access, the hackers also note that TaiG 2.2.1 also incorporates stability and performance improvements, which should result in an increased success rate of jailbreak iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
Here’s TaiG 2.2.1 complete change-log:
- Fixes setreuid patch to prevent applications from obtaining to root privileges through setreuid.
- Increases stability.
Previous TaiG jailbreak versions for iOS 8.4 – iOS 8.1.3 contained a serious security flaw that could allow allow application to gain root access through setreuid. To address the issue, TaiG has briefly issued an update into Cydia but was later removed from Cydia as it did not fixed the issue.
