On Tuesday, Apple not only released iOS 8.4, alongside its music stream service ‘Apple Music’ and Beats 1, a global internet radio, the company also released a brand new version of its iTunes software for Windows and Mac computers with integrated support for Apple Music and Beats 1.
If you want to try Apple Music or Beats 1, your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch must be running iOS 8.4 (how to install iOS 8.4). However, for enjoying the Beats 1 and Apple Music on a desktop, your Mac or Windows machines must have iTunes 12.2 installed.

The update adds all of the bells and whistles of Apple Music, which launched first on iOS 8.4, including the For You tab to build an organized grouping of music you might like, Playlist support, and Beats 1 radio.
