Apple has finally launched its Apple Music, a subscription based music streaming service alongside Beats 1, a 24/7 radio service. Apple has launched these two services across 100+ countries around the globe. Hit the jump to know what do there services has to offer, what will these services cost.
Here are the core capabilities of Apple Music and Beats 1:
All the music you already have. And all the music you could ever want.
Apple music not only gives you access to the music you do not have, it will also carry your entire iTunes library to Apple Music.
First, we identify all the tracks in your personal collection and compare them to the Apple Music library to see if we have copies. If we do, we make them instantly available in iCloud across all your devices
If no match is found in the online library, the track will be uploaded from iTunes on your computer.
With Siri integrated in Apple Music, users will have more control over their music. You can get help from Siri with an array of requests. You can ask Siri to do things like:
“Play the top songs from 1982.”
“Play more songs like this.”
“After this song, play They Want My Soul.”
“Add the new Blur album to my library.”
Connects provides a platform to fans to connect with their favorite artists. While new artists will be able to promote their music, the existing established artists will be able to keep their fans in loop with videos, backstage shots and more, on which fans will be able to comments, like, and share.
Discovery is the name of a feature using which Apple Music will learn your preferences over time and will make suggestion based on what it has learnt. All you need to do is, when you start, just pick your genre, favourite bands, and rest will build up from there.
