Apple has just released iOS 9 beta 1 to developers. The download links for iOS 9 beta 1 software are now live. Apple announced iOS 9 at WWDC 2015, and it is now available to download for compatible devices. Hit the jump to download iOS 9 beta 1.
While apple will make iOS 9 beta available for public testing through a separate program which will be available soon, as of right now, iOS 9 is only available to those who have enrolled into iOS Developer program in iOS Dev Center. iOS Dev Center registration costs $99 per year.
iOS 9, which was unveiled during WWDC 2015 keynote, includes a number of new features and improvements such as proactive Siri, Split-screen multitasking on iPad, new transit view in maps and lots more.
iOS 9 beta 1 carries a build number 13A4254v and iOS 9 compatible devices list includes:
- iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S
- iPad Air 2, iPad Air
- iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2
- iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad mini
- iPod touch 5g
Jailbreaker’s should avoid updating to iOS 9 beta 1, or you may end up losing your jailbreak and there will not be any jailbreak tool released for iOS 9 beta firmwares.
You can download iOS 9 beta 1 from the iOS Dev Center if you’re a registered developer there.
