Mophie, one of the popular iPhone accessory maker, is known for its decent line-up of battery cases and external battery backup solutions for iPhone, at a decent price. The company launched its cases and backup battery solutions for iPhone and iPad earlier this year, but as of today, Mophie has entered into waterproof category by launching a waterproof battery case for the iPhone 6.
The new waterproof battery case for the iPhone 6 is called “juice pack H2PRO,” which not only provides backup power to the iPhone 6, but also protects it from the elements. Mophie claims its new battery case to work even when submerged for an extended period of time (1.2m for 30 minutes). The case not only is waterproof, it also protects iPhone 6 from dust and dirt as well.
The Juice Pack H2PRO comes in black plastic finish and has a flexible membrane over the front of the iPhone’s display which is not only scratch resistant, but also comes with multi-touch support on the iPhone’s display, as well as allows complete access to Touch ID.
As a battery case, “Juice Pack H2PRO” comes packed with 2,750 mAh battery. As the iPhone has a 1,800mAh battery, a fully charged H2Pro case can offer approximately one and a half charge. The case also features integrated switches for mute, volume, and lock buttons.
Mophie’s new H2Pro battery loaded case costs $129.95. The case is available for pre-order now, and it’ll begin shipping in late May.
