A Florida woman, who was held hostage at knife-point by her boyfriend, rescued after she sent a message for help using Pizza Hut app, reports Highlands Country Sheriff’s Office in Florida.
The woman was held hostage by her boyfriend and she managed to get her rescued after sending a comment, asking for help, is an online pizza hut order. Pizza Hut received the order at 3:40 PM with a message in the comments section asking them to call 911 for a hostage situation. The Pizza Hut employees recognized the order as being from a frequent customer; but the added comment was something they never saw so they called the authorities.

The Avon Park Pizza Hut employees spotted what Cheryl Treadway wrote in the comment section of her online order. Employees recognized Treadway as a regular customer and called the sheriff’s office.
Police arrived at the delivery address, where they were greeted by a female, Cheryl Treadway, who was carrying a small child in her arms. She told police that her boyfriend, Ethan Nickerson, is inside with her two other children and is holding a knife. After escorting the woman to safety, the police began talking to Nickerson through the closed door of the home. It took them 20 minutes to make Nickerson come out peacefully.
