CVE-ID
CVE-2015-1087 : TaiG Jailbreak Team
Previously, Apple had patched several vulnerabilities in iOS 8.1.3 effectively killing the TaiG jailbreak and PP jailbreak. TaiG team is working on an iOs 8.2 jailbreak, and probably a jailbreak for current latest iOS 8.3 as well. The jailbreak team has not said anything yet about how much will the latest vulnerability fixes impact the jailbreak development.
It is not clear how much will the patching of the security vulnerability in the backup system impact iOS 8.3 jailbreak development process. The TaiG jailbreak team has not commented on matter yet.
If you’re still running iOS 8.1.2 or lower version of the software and have jailbroken your device, it’s strongly suggested to stay away from any iOS update. And also be extremely careful when installing jailbreak tweaks or messing with the file system. Because one wrong move may result in restoring your device and you’ll end up with loosing your jailbreak.
We’ll update you as we learn more about iOS 8.3 jailbreak or whenever TaiG jailbreak talks about recently patched vulnerability in iOS 8.3. Stay Tuned!
