After publishing ‘Guided Tours‘ videos for Apple Watch, that teach potential customer about prominent features of the Watch, Apple has now updated its website with a ‘How to buy the Apple Watch’ section. This new section on the website restates the information that the company had already shared.
The new ‘How to buy the Apple Watch’ section reiterates that pre-orders for Apple’s wearable start from April 10 and interested buyers will be able to make reservations online and pick it up from stores on April 24.
While not explicitly mentioned, the new section suggests that potential customers will be offered in-store reservations for the Apple Watch. If true, potential buyers will be able to walk-in to a nearby Apple retail store and reserve an Apple Watch unit of their choice starting from April 10. Then they can pickup the reserved unit on April 24. This walk-in reservations make sense once you consider the fact that Apple Watch try on appointments also begins April 10.
Various reports has confirmed that customers can either reserve a unit online or schedule a try-on appointment after which they may reserve a unit for themselves. However, customers will not be able to directly walk-in in an Apple retail store on or after April 24 to buy an Apple Watch unit.
Apple Watch is all set to launch on April 24 with pre-orders starting at 12:01 AM PDT time on April 10 in the following countries: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States.
