Soon after revealing the exact Apple Watch pre-orders time, Apple added a new ‘Guided Tours’ section to its Apple Watch website to show off the upcoming wearable in another way. The new section offers in-depth look at key features of Apple Watch ahead of its April 24 public launch.
While existing dedicated page for Apple Watch provides plenty of details regarding the wearable since its official unveiling, guided tours are a welcomed section. The guided Tours section has numerous videos demonstrating prospective customers how they can take advantage of new interactions and the technology used in the Watch.
As of now, there are only a few videos available to watch, including general overview, ways to look at Messages, Watch faces and Digital Touch. There are several other videos listed as ‘Coming soon.’ Once those videos have been uploaded, users will be able to watch guided tours about Siri on the wearable, Maps, track activity and workout, Apple Pay, phone calls and much more.
Apple unveiled Apple Watch back in September 2014 and scheduled it to hit shelves on April 24, with pre-orders starting at 12:01 am (PST) next Friday. This will be Apple’s first major product line after the launch of original iPad five years ago.
