Apple released the latest iOS 8.2 software updated last week, which brought Health app enhancements, stability and bug fixes. Just like its predecessor i.e. iOS 8.1.3, the iOS 8.2 is yet to be jailbroken. Apple has already stopped signing iOS 8.1.2 and there’s no way to jailbreak iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.1.3.
With the release of iOS 8.1.3 and then iOS 8.2, Apple patched several vulnerabilities used in the TaiG jailbreak – effectively rendering the jailbreak useless for the current version of iOS software.
The team TaiG, the folks responsible for jailbreaking iOS 8.1.1 and iOS 8.1.2, is organizing 2015 Mobile Security Summit, where they have invited some renowned names of the jailbreak scene. Stefan Esser aka i0n1c, a well-known security expert and hacker speculates that the team TaiG may release the eagerly awaited iOS 8.2 jailbreak during this upcoming summit.
Considering that TaiG scheduled that jb summit for end of March it is likely that they will release a jb at that meeting (if they have one)

The Mobile Security Summit (MSS) is being called the Chinese version of the Worldwide Jailbreak Convention (JailbreakCon), which was first organized back in 2012. The big names of the jailbreak scene including the likes of Comex, Chronic, P0sixninja, and Pimskeks are listed as “panelists” in this upcoming Summit. The named hackers will also appear in keynotes to talk on the topics such as security, the anatomy of a jailbreak, and OpenJailbreak.org. Following each one, there will be a Q&A session.
There is one main reason that jailbreak community is eagerly waiting for it to be jailbroken i.e. it adds support for the Apple Watch via a companion app. All those folks who are planning to buy Apple Watch would love to see the possibilities after jailbreak.
TaiG has pushed jailbreaks for iOS 8.2 beta versions, and the team was confident that they will release an iOS 8.2 jailbreak when Apple releases it to masses. So, we hope that the team releases the jailbreak at the event.
We will keep you posted as soon as we learn more about iOS 8.2 jailbreak. Stay Tuned!
