Apple is widely expected to announce its next major software version – iOS 9 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch at WWDC 2015 in June. With the release of iOS 8, Apple opened door for the 3rd party developers to release their iOS keyboard and widgets into the app store, but we still want more. Ralph Theodory – a YouTuber has created an iOS 9 concept showcasing some of the features he would like to see in iOS 9 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch…

While the concept shows the same design language of iOS 8, the video showcases numerous new features. Here are the summarized list of proposed features of iOS 9 showcased in the video:

  • The concept demonstrates the ability to close all the running apps in the background by swiping up the home screen card. Currently, iOS users can close al the running apps using a jailbreak tweak.
  • Pressing the Home button thrice activates the Night Mode that makes it easier to read text in the night. The white menu background turns into black keeping the display easy on eyes without any need to dim down brightness.
  • The ability to search options in Settings app, and access the change history so that one can easily revert back to an earlier settings. It will be a handy feature for new iOS users to quickly search settings and also when the users forget the changes made, especially when the changes were made by mistake.
  • The concept demonstrates a feature dubbed as Color Look that allows users to change colors of buttons, UI elements and Control Center. Color choices for iOS UI will be a decent new feature in iOS 9.
  • Three Springboard views: Normal, Zoomed, and Apple Watch like rounded view. Jailbreak apps like Winterboard brings Apple Watch like interface to jailbroken iPhone.
  • Siri prompts user to spell out some words, which it is unable to understand, for future reference.
