Just a day after the availability of iOS 8.1.2, Apple has released iOS 8.2 beta 2 to developers. iOS 8.2 beta 2 is now available for download to the registered iOS developer. If you’re a registered developer enrolled into iOS Dev Center program, you can download iOS 8.2 beta 2 from the iOS Dev Center.
The second beta of iOS 8.2 firmware comes about three weeks after the release of its first beta. iOS 8.1.2, which was released a day earlier, fixed a bug related to the disappearance of purchased ringtones from the device.
iOS 8.2 brings WatchKit support to Apple’s mobile operating system. WatchKit is Apple’s own developer SDK for the wearable Apple Watch and has also gone live for the developers.
If you’re already rocking iOS 8.2 first beta, you can update to the second beta Over-the-Air. The iOS 8.2 beta 2 is also available through developers portal to all the registered iOS developers. Download the full sized firmware from there and follow our guide on how to install iOS using iTunes to restore your device to the latets beta.
