Pangu for iOS 8.1 and iOS 8 was released by the team Pangu earlier this week. But it seems like the release is made in haste, as Cydia didn’t come bundled with it, no English version, no Mac support and plenty of bugs yet to be addressed.
The team Pangu stated that they could not bundle Cydia in early releases because of its incompatibility with iOS 8 – iOS 8.1. Now that Saurik has made Cydia compatible with iOS 8.1 and iOS 8, the team Pangu is now working with Saurik to bundle Cydia in next Pangu jailbreak release for iOS 8.1-8 devices.
After saying that the English version of Pangu jailbreak will be released in a few days, the team now says that they are working closely with Saurik to bundle Cydia within Pangu jailbreak, so that user won’t need to install it manually after the jailbreak. The team also said that the issues related to iMessage and Safari will also be addressed in upcoming release. The team is already working on a Mac version of Pangu jailbreak iOS 8.1-8, but won’t be ready “in the near future”.
We are working with @saurik to make Cydia stable asap. Also we are fixing bugs include Safari and iMessage problems. Please wait …
