Pangu jailbreak for Mac is now available for download. The Pangu jailbreak team has updated their jailbreak tool “Pangu” to version 1.1.0, with added support for Mac. It’s a great news for all those users who could not jailbreak their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch running iOS 7.1.1 because of the lack of support for Mac OS X. The notable changes include Mac version and support for English language. The update also fixes some bugs faced by many users. Pangu jailbreak for released for Windows users last week.
One major bug that gets fixed in Pangu v1.1.0 is the one that resulted in a devices getting stuck in a boot loop. The jailbreak is said to be much more stable than its first release. The Pangu team notes that they have dumped i0n1c’s exploit for a new exploit of their own.
According to the Pangu Team, PPSync has been removed from the English version of the jailbreak. Cydia is the only installer that gets installed once the device is jailbroken using Pangu. We assume that the Chinese variant of the jailbreak still comes with the PPSync. It is our understanding that the Chinese version still contains it though.

For to not familiar, Pangu is an untethered jailbreak for any device that runs iOS 7.1 or iOS 7.1.1. It was first released, by a new Chinese jailbreak team, a week ago for Windows only.
If you’ve successfully jailbreak your device running iOS 7.1.1 with Pangu jailbreak, ignore this update and keep using your jailbreak device. If, however, it’s advised to backup your personal stuff, fresh restore your device and then try Pangu v1.1.0.
