After the upcoming iPhone event, Apple is expected to unveil next generation of iPads: iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 in October. Just like iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, iPad 5 leaks has also started making rounds. This time alleged iPad 5 casing has been leaked and compared to the current generation iPad 4 in a video. The video shows what an iPad 5 is gonna look like. The video clearly shows that the alleged iPad 5 is thinner and lighter. When the front panels of the alleged iPad 5 is compared to an iPad 4, the form factor of the upcoming iPad has pretty narrow side-bezels just like the iPad mini, but has the exact same screen size. Which means you’ll be getting same screen size in overall smaller form factor in iPad 5.
The video shows that the alleged iPad 5 casing has two separate buttons to control volume, instead of being a single piece. Speaker location and the overall form-factor appears to be just like the iPad mini. Checkout the comparison video below…
Rumor has it that Apple will be holding an iPad event in October to unveil the iPad 5 and may be iPad mini 2 as well. Nothing is known yet about the internals of the upcoming iPad.
